Baking Cookie Dough
Ingredients:
- 115g unsalted butter, softened
- 60g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 170g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Optional: chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit, etc.
Instructions:
①Cream the butter and brown sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
②Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
③In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
④Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
⑤If desired, stir in chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit.
⑥Roll the dough into balls, and place them on a baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
⑦Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
⑧Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
